First Up, What Is CBD

CBD oil naturally exists in cannabis plant found in countries like Australia, India, Canada etc. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substance, CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.

Uses Of CBD Oil

CBD FOR CANCER PREVENTION

CBD oil can be used for cancer treatment or prevention. Studies in cancer cell lines and in animal models found that CBD caused cancer cells to stop spreading and eventually die off. National Cancer Institute (NCI) trusted source reviewed numerous studies regarding the link between cannabis and cancer and found that the research has mixed results. An older study trusted Source of 64,855 men from the United States found that cannabis use did not increase the risk of tobacco-related cancers. However, this same study also found that male cannabis users who never smoked tobacco had an increased risk of prostate cancer. On the other hand, the authors of a 2015 study found a promising relationship between cannabis and bladder cancer. After adjusting for several factors, they found that that cannabis users had a 45-percent lower risk of developing bladder cancer.

CHRONIC PAIN

The same report studied CBD use for general chronic pain. Researchers compiled the results of multiple systematic reviews covering dozens of trials and studies. Their research concluded that there is substantial evidence that cannabis is an effective treatment for chronic pain in adults. A separate study published in the Journal of Experimental Medicine supports these results. This research suggests that using CBD can reduce pain and inflammation. The researchers also found that subjects were not likely to build up a tolerance to the effects of CBD, so they would not need to increase their dose continually. They noted that cannabinoids, such as CBD, could offer helpful new treatments for people with chronic pain.

CANNABINOIDS IN THE TREATMENT OF EPILEPSY

The interest in cannabis-based products for the treatment of refractory epilepsy has skyrocketed in recent years. CBD is very useful in epilepsy. Compared with THC, cannabidiol (CBD) shows a better defined anticonvulsant profile in animal models and is largely devoid of adverse psychoactive effects and abuse liability. Over the years, this has led to an increasing use of CBD-enriched extracts in seizure disorders, particularly in children. Although improvement in seizure control and other benefits on sleep and behavior have been often reported, interpretation of the data is made difficult by the uncontrolled nature of these observations. Evidence concerning the potential anti-seizure efficacy of cannabinoids reached a turning point in the last 12 months, with the completion of three high-quality placebo-controlled adjunctive-therapy trials of a purified CBD product in patients with Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. In these studies, CBD was found to be superior to placebo in reducing the frequency of convulsive (tonic-clonic, tonic, clonic, and atonic) seizures in patients with Dravet syndrome, and the frequency of drop seizures in patients with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. For the first time, there is now class 1 evidence that adjunctive use of CBD improves seizure control in patients with specific epilepsy syndromes. Based on currently available information, however, it is unclear whether the improved seizure control described in these trials was related to a direct action of CBD, or was mediated by drug interactions with concomitant medications, particularly a marked increased in plasma levels of N-desmethylclobazam, the active metabolite of clobazam. Clarification of the relative contribution of CBD to improved seizure outcome requires re-assessment of trial data for the subgroup of patients not comedicated with clobazam, or the conduction of further studies controlling for the confounding effect of this interaction.

CBD USE IN BRAIN CANCER

Currently, it has been found that CBD can be used to treat brain tumour and there have been promising results. However, ingesting CBD extract does not expose the body to the same carcinogens as smoking cannabis.

ARTHRITIS PAIN

A study published in the European Journal of Pain used an animal model to see if CBD could help people with arthritis manage their pain Their researchers note a significant drop in inflammation and signs of pain, without additional side effects. People using CBD oil for arthritis may find relief from their pain, but more human studies need to be done to confirm these findings.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that affects the entire body through the nerves and brain. Muscle spasms are one of the most common symptoms of MS. These spasms can be so great they cause constant pain in some people. One report found that short-term use of CBD oil could reduce the levels of spasticity a person feels. The results are modest, but many people reported a reduction in symptoms. More studies on humans are needed to verify these results.

QUALITY OF OUR PRODUCT

Our CBD Oil is prepared with best quality raw material and with latest extraction method. This process kills harmful bacteria and ensures more terpenes and cannabinoids end up in the CBD product. Now a day, CO2 extraction is a standard extraction method in the herbal supplement and food industries? If you drink decaffeinated coffee, for example, you are already using a product that relies on carbon dioxide extraction to remove caffeine from coffee beans. Also, the gas is an extraction solvent in essential oil production.

Frequently Asked Questions

CBD dosage is dependent on the formulation of the CBD you have procured. Generally, our product is liquid and 10 GM CBD.

It is best to begin with a lower dose, and gradually increase whilst monitoring your responses as you gradually increase to an optimum dose.

Every person will have individual results and responses with CBD, and the benefits can be subtle at first.

Each human has a unique physiological make up, resulting in varied dosage from person to person. Ultimately you must discover your specific dosing regimen by increasing slowly over time to reach a comfortable dosage where you feel the most relief. For most people, this is approximately 2-3 drops three times per day.

Start with one drop once a day
After 3-5 days, increase to one drop three times a day
After 3-5 days, increase to two drops three times a day

It is recommended to take your CBD three times per day, with around 3 hours between doses, however some people may feel that taking CBD only once per day is right for them as a maintenance program.

It’s also best to consume the CBD on an empty stomach, to avoid the stomach acids breaking down the CBD before it is absorbed.

It is recommended that dosage should include both morning and evening, however as previously mentioned, it is important to find out what works best for your unique self.

Whichever you choose, you will find the suitable maintenance dosage for your system.

It is recommended to place CBD under the tongue for 1-2 minutes as this provides the maximum absorption via capillaries in the mouth.

Immediately swallowing CBD Oil may offer less absorption due to the acids in the stomach breaking it down before it is taken up by the body.

Some people find that swallowing CBD Oil can leave a harsh taste at the back of the throat. By holding it under the tongue and letting it absorb gradually, this is minimized. Another solution for those who find the taste harsh is to follow it with a light snack, or a spoonful of honey.

For ideal longevity, store your CBD oil in the fridge or in cool place. In winter it can be stored at out side the fridge and it will last for months. When exposed to sunlight or direct heat, the potency may be reduced.

Always consult with your doctor or health professional before trying CBD, If you are taking prescription medicine.

As a precaution, we advise not to take CBD when pregnant. Your decision should always be made with the advice of a qualified medical practitioner.
